What is Jeuveau?
Jeuveau is a newer neuromodulator on the market and another one of the collection of wrinkle-reducing treatments offered at Lennox Aesthetics. Like all of the neuromodulators, Jeuveau works by temporarily relaxing muscles that cause wrinkles, frown lines, and other facial and neck muscles spasms. Jeuveau is similar to other cosmetic injections that use botulinum toxin, such as Botox, Xeomin and Dysport. Jeuveau is sometimes marketed as “Newtox” due to its more recent entry into the market.
How is Jeuveau different from Botox?
One of the main differences between Jeuveau and Botox is that Jeuveau is formulated using a proprietary purification process known as Hi-Pure technology. This is intended to remove impurities and make the product more effective. Additionally, Jeuveau is marketed as a “purer” form of botulinum toxin than Botox, with fewer proteins and other impurities.
Another potential difference between the two is that Jeuveau may work more quickly than Botox. Some studies have suggested that the effects of Jeuveau may become visible as soon as 24 hours after treatment, while Botox typically takes several days to take full effect.
The choice between Jeuveau and other neuromodulators will depend on individual factors such as our patient’s preference, medical history, and treatment goals.
